The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Caraga Region conducted an Orientation on Provincial/City/Municipal/Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (ADAC) Performance Audit Protocol last September 12, 2018 at Balanghai Hotel and Convention Center, Butuan City. The DILG Provincial Directors, DILG ADAC Focal Persons, representatives from PNP, PDEA and Civic Society Organizations in the region participated in the said activity. 

Considered as the first assembly of the Anti-Drug Abuse Council Performance Audit Teams in the region, the said activity was able to establish the official members of the Anti-Drug Abuse Council Regional Performance Audit Team (ART) as well as the composition of the Five (5) Anti-Drug Abuse Council Provincial Performance Audit Team (APT) representing the provinces.

Significantly, the said activity discussed the guideline, procedure, modes of verification, tools, responsibilities and timeline of the ADAC Performance Audit centering on CY 2017 functionalities of all local ADACs.

The submission of the modes of verification to approved DILG personnel will officially start on September 15, 2018.  To keep on, the ADAC Performance Audit Teams will proceed with the verification phase from October to November 2018.

To ensure compliance on the timeline, each ADAC performance audit team formulated its roll out of action plans.  Certainly, this will pave to more collaborative meetings which will be advantageous to our local ADACs.
