DILG CARAGA RECORDS ARRIVAL OF 10,303 LOCALLY STRANDED INDIVIDUALS (LSIs)
As of 5:00 PM of August 5, 2020, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Regional Office 13 – Caraga has recorded a total arrival of 10,303 Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) beginning May 16, 2020 when the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 Order 2020-02 issued on May 13, 2020 relative to the Operational Guidelines on the Management of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) became effective.

Finding LGU Funds 4-Months Through A Pandemic: The Tale of Basilisa Care and Containment Center
August 9, 2020--Rev. Fr. Ricardo A. Virtudazo officiated the blessing of 80-Bed Municipal Care and Containment Center (MCCC) of LGU Basilisa at the Municipal Gymnasium, Brgy Tag-abaca, Basilisa, Dinagat Islands, a project made possible by realigning existing budgets for FY 2020 for the unprogrammed PPAs in response to the continuing Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic hounding the world.

Dinagat Islands Alliance for Development (DIAD) holds Joint Meeting for LGUs and Technical Working Group
On August 5, 2020, the Dinagat Islands Alliance for Development (DIAD) conducted a Joint Meeting of the seven Local Government Units (LGUs) and Technical Working Group (TWG) at the Provincial Governor’s Conference Hall, Capitol Compound, Brgy. Cuarinta, San Jose, Dinagat Islands. This activity aims to discuss the fishery and forest laws enforcement protocol, delineation of municipal waters and the proposed draft of the Unified Fishery Ordinance.
