World Day Against Trafficking, July 30, 2020
The Department of the Interior and Local Government is in full support to the observance of the 2020 World Day Against Trafficking that carries the theme, “Isang Bayan, Isang Paninindigan, Laban sa Trafficking ng Mamamayan”. The day is observed to raise awareness of the situation of victims of human trafficking and for the promotion and protection of their rights. Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights, hence, everyone should take part in combating human rights violations.
