Fruitful Virtual Cluster Meetingof the RTF-ELCAC Basic Services Held
On April 13, 2020, the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) Basic Services Cluster successfully conducted a virtual meeting. Presided by DILG Caraga Regional Director Lilibeth A. Famacion, thevirtual meeting was primarily held to harmonize the assistance programs granted by different national government agencies to the people/communities to cushion the impact of loss of income and livelihood due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also served as a venue to thresh out and address issues affecting the implementation of the programs. An equally important agenda tackled was strategies to improve government assistance program messaging.

DILG Caraga capacitates personnel on most recent local governance developments
DILG Caraga capacitated select technical personnel yesterday on the most recent developments in the local governance landscape in the country as a maiden activity to its capacity development intervention to Local Government Units (LGUs) and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). The activity was graced by Interior and Local Government Assistant Secretary for Human Resource Development Florida M. Dijan who was the guest of honor during the inauguration of the new DILG Caraga Regional Office building earlier that day.

DILG ASEC for HRD Dijan Graces LGRRC - DILG XIII New Building Inaguration
The inauguration and blessing of the newly completed LGRRC – DILG XIII building at Barangay Doongan, Butuan City on March 10, 2020 was a momentous event for the men and women of DILG XIII (Caraga). The long and arduous journey of the office in finding a permanent home has finally come to a full circle. Under the dynamic leadership of the Regional Director Lilibeth A. Famacion, CESO III, the dream of the DILG Caraga workforce has finally come to fruition after 25 years of existence and five (5) different rented buildings.
