The inauguration and blessing of the newly completed LGRRC – DILG XIII building at Barangay Doongan, Butuan City on March 10, 2020 was a momentous event for the men and women of DILG XIII (Caraga). The long and arduous journey of the office in finding a permanent home has finally come to a full circle. Under the dynamic leadership of the Regional Director Lilibeth A. Famacion, CESO III, the dream of the DILG Caraga workforce has finally come to fruition after 25 years of existence and five (5) different rented buildings.

On January 23, 2020, the RTF-ELCAC conducts its 4th Full Council Meeting at the Lope A. Asis Memorial Gymnasium, Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur. Cabinet Secretary Karlo A. B. Nograles, Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security, presided the said meeting. He was joined by Regional Development Council Chairperson and Agusan del Norte Governor Dale B. Corvera, Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) Chairperson and Surigao del Sur Governor Alexander T. Pimentel, RDC Vice Chairperson and NEDA Regional Director Bonifacio G. Uy, and RPOC Vice Chairperson and DILG Regional Director Lilibeth A. Famacion, CESO III. All of the Local Chief Executives of the municipalities and component city of the Province of Agusan del Sur and Governor Santiago B Cane Jr., himself were also present.

With the fight for inclusive and sustainable peace in full steam, the Caraga Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC) holds a Peace Caravan in the remote barangay of Mt Carmel, Bayugan City on January 23, 2020. The caravan, which was a prelude to the 4th Caraga RTF-ELCAC Meeting, was led by Cabinet Officer for Regional Development and Security, Cabinet Secretary Karlo Alexei B. Nograles together with Surigao del Sur Governor and Regional Peace and Order Council Chairperson Alexander T. Pimentel, Agusan del Sur Governor Santiago B. Cane, Jr., Bayugan City Mayor Kirk A. Asis and other members of the task force.
